Doctor Phillipa Megat is the star inventor of Sybility Data Solutions, a datamining and predictive technology corporation with a monopoly over its respective market. Her life’s work is a project called Melanotis, which aggregates mass amounts of data to predict the past and simulate it in goggle-free VR. When the threat of shutdown prompts Phillipa to look deeper into Melanotis itself, the secrets between the code begin a journey through digital memory in which all roads lead to one person–who disappeared four years ago.
